THE CHALLENGE

An agricultural technology company needed a rugged, portable case to house high-value drone tracking equipment. Their drones collect vital data over vast fields, requiring precise positioning from durable, reflective panels.

The client needed a sewn goods partner who could go beyond standard packaging. They wanted a custom solution that could enhance the functionality of their drone-based system.

KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED:

1

A secure fit for expensive reflective tracking panels used for georeferencing

2

Durable materials to withstand
repeated use and outdoor conditions

3

Lightweight and portable for easy transport in the field

4

Brand visibility through
logo embroidery

THE SOLUTION

CH Ellis’s design team collaborated closely with the client to develop a purpose-built, flat-fold bag that checked every box.

LIGHTWEIGHT & FOLDABLE

Ideal for field use, the bag features a flexible structure that makes it easy to carry and store.

A sewn-in vinyl “frame” at the corners provides structure and keeps the tracking panels secure, even when the bag is folded.

A padded handle improves portability for technicians moving across terrain.

The client’s logo was embroidered on the bag’s exterior for a polished, brand-forward presentation.

FLAWLESS FIT

The reflective panels remain snug and protected during storage and transport.

The case supports deployment of sensors and landing pads, improving drone data accuracy.

Lightweight materials and a padded handle make for effortless carrying.

The client has reordered the case multiple times, proving the design’s long-term quality and value.
