Manufacturers heat plastic resin in a spinning mold to create rotomolded cases, then cool it with water jets.
After extraction from the mold, cases are cooled to guarantee flat surfaces. This process is facilitated by unique fixtures or compressed air. Post-cooling, the cases undergo finishing and assembly.

When compared to injection molding, the tooling costs are far less. However, they can be more than vacuum forming molds. If you’re unsure what version of molding makes sense for your cases, have a call with our team to discuss your best options.
